The battlefield franchise returns

Well, that’s the confirmation we’ve been waiting for. Electronic Arts has at last lifted the curtain on Battlefield 6 following months of cheeky hints plus behind-closed-doors trials – and, as most would have predicted, its aesthetic feels distinctly like ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare‘ at this early glance.
Keep in mind, the reveal clip carries a disclaimer stating the sequence is “game engine footage not representative of actual gameplay”; even so, the unmistakably gritty, realistic military mood is already on full display. Eyeball the teaser via the embedded clip up top.
Beyond that, the unveiling was notably thin on specifics. What we do know for sure is that the full multiplayer blow-out is slated for July 31st; otherwise, EA is keeping its cards close to the vest. Persistent whispers suggest BF6 will touch down on Xbox next October, though the publisher is yet to stamp an official date.
Regardless, we have dropped the links to every whisper below, which also outline EA’s rumoured pricing strategy for launch. Battlefield is gearing up for a big comeback, and we’re eager to see how it all pans out.
