You’ve probably heard about Xbox Play Anywhere being a big focus in 2025 – it’s the name for the program where you buy a game on console and get it free on PC – and there are loads of titles that support this in the Xbox Summer Sale.

In fact, there are so many that there’s no way we can list them all. Instead, we’ve decided to pick out 25 of the best Xbox Play Anywhere games that you can pick up in the Summer Sale / Ultimate Game Sale from now until the end of July.

If you do want to see that full list though, there’s an easy way – go to the “Ultimate Game Sale” page on the official Xbox website, open the “Play With” tab on the left-hand side, and then tick “Xbox Play Anywhere”. Easy!

Of course, plenty of these games are already included with Xbox Game Pass, so be sure to double-check if you don’t want to buy anything that’s on that service, although some of the discounts here are well worth picking up for keeps!

If you don’t know how Xbox Play Anywhere works, the PC version(s) will be available to you in the Xbox PC app under the “My Library” tab, where you’ll be able to install and play the games as you’d expect. Just make sure you’ve got a PC that’s capable enough to handle them, as some may prove too demanding for certain rigs.
