The Sims 4 Enchanted by Nature is here, but fairies aren’t the only new feature to come to EA’s life sim – so is rapper T-Pain

Following a highly-anticipated announcement, fairies have at last glided into The Sims 4 with the latest expansion pack Enchanted by Nature – and… *consults notes* artist T-Pain has become one?

It’s 2012 once more, and Katy Perry is collaborating with The Sims 3 for exclusive themed merchandise – except this time, it’s 2025, and the star teaming up with EA is none other than T-Pain. Indeed, you heard that correctly. In a recent online post, the musician declares that “they transformed me into an actual fairy in The Sims 4,” dubbing it a “enchanting” moment. Included is a clip of him on stage dancing with a mid-video transition to him as a Sims fairy.

Audio accompanies the visuals, and it’s just as amusing as the video itself. You know that viral “she was a fairy” segment that circulates through TikTok videos and YouTube shorts? It’s that, but in Simlish. T-Pain also mentions that he will be going live to play Sims on both Twitch and YouTube this Thursday, July 17 – presumably when we will finally get a glimpse of his fairy-fied Sim persona in action. To be honest, this is a partnership I never realized I craved.

EA has partnered with various celebrities, such as Katy Perry, to endorse The Sims, so it’s not particularly revolutionary – but among all the individuals they’ve engaged with thus far, this collaboration has genuinely taken me by surprise. Recently, a similar live stream occurred alongside Megan Thee Stallion, during which the Enchanted by Nature pack was first showcased, so who’s to say – we might witness even more celebrity crossovers in the future.
