Here are the complete patch notes:

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.3 Patch Notes

Vehicles

Four new vehicles have been introduced, accompanied by various Side Jobs related to obtaining them:

  • Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru

Reward acquired from a new side job (to unlock, finish The Hunt and The Beast In Me).

An additional side job enables the CrystalCoat™ feature for this vehicle.

  • Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”

Reward available from a new side job (to unlock, complete The Beast in Me: Badlands, The Beast in Me: Santo Domingo, Transmission, and Search and Destroy).

  • Yaiba ASM-R250 Muramasa

Reward unlocked from a new side job (to access, purchase 1 Yaiba vehicle, acquire at least 3 vehicles through AUTOFIXER, and complete Reported Crime: You Play with Fire…).

If the side job is failed, the vehicle can later be purchased through AUTOFIXER.

  • Chevillon Legatus 450 Aquila

Available for acquisition via AUTOFIXER.

  • Introducing AutoDrive! This advanced autonomous driving feature will guide you to a specified destination (i.e. job target or marked pin on the map). If no destination is set, it will take you on a scenic journey through Night City. Just enter any of your vehicles, ensure you’re on a road, and hold H (PC) / Left Stick (consoles) to initiate. This feature becomes inactive in combat situations or when your vehicle sustains significant damage.
  • Implemented Cinematic Camera for AutoDrive. Hold Q (PC) / D-Pad Right (consoles) to engage. Sit back and relish cinematic views of Night City while cruising toward your destination.
  • Self-driving Delamain cabs are now available on request! Just open the menu to summon vehicles, then choose “Delamain Cab” from the options to arrange a ride. This feature becomes accessible after completing the job Don’t Lose Your Mind (regardless of the outcome) and receiving communication from Delamain.
  • Rayfield’s CrystalCoat™ feature is now usable for vehicles from partner brands, including motorcycles. Moreover, the notorious hacker known as Cosmetic_Troll took advantage of a flaw and devised a cracked version of Rayfield’s CrystalCoat™ technology for lower-end vehicles. Please note, however, that some models do not support this technology, such as heavily modified nomad vehicles and job-specific vehicles.
  • Resolved an issue where unique color combinations did not function correctly on the Mizutani Shion MZ1 and MZ2.
  • Addressed an issue where unique color schemes could not be properly applied to the Villefort Deleon “Vindicator”.

Photo Mode

  • Added 27 new NPCs available for spawning in Photo Mode, including Rita Wheeler, the Cassel twins, fixers, Dum Dum, the iguana, Brendan, and more.
  • You can now alternate outfits for NPCs spawned in Photo Mode.
  • You can now toggle between V’s saved Wardrobe outfits in Photo Mode.
  • A confirmation pop-up has been added for exiting Photo Mode to avoid accidental exits after crafting the perfect shot.
  • Included additional customization options for the Look-At Camera feature, including an option for just the character’s eyes to shift toward the camera instead of their entire body.
  • Included numerous new stickers and frames, featuring iconic quotes and stylish overlays that transform your screenshots into Night City postcards – ideal for sharing memories from the City of Dreams.
  • Enhanced Depth of Field and repositioned it to the Camera tab.
  • Introduced a new Color Balance tab, permitting you to craft your personal custom filters.
  • Weather: incorporates rain, acid rain, fog, sandstorms, pollution, and sunny conditions.
  • Time of Day: modifies the time of day within Photo Mode.
  • Frame Forward: allows movement through an unlimited number of frames to seize the perfect shot.
  • Game Speed: permits in-game time progression while in Photo Mode.

Quality of Life & Accessibility

  • The game now recognizes if the player uses inverted mouse button settings and will automatically adjust the in-game button prompts accordingly.
  • Added an option to toggle aiming down sights in Settings → Controls.

Jobs & Open World

  • Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual – the goal “Crack the ritualist’s shard” now correctly disappears from the Journal after completion.
  • Sex on Wheels – now properly appears in the Journal after receiving a message from Jake Estevez.
  • Shot by Both Sides – addressed an issue where selecting a certain dialogue option in the conversation with Bree created an unnamed, iconless item in the player’s Inventory.
  • Shot by Both Sides – resolved an issue where the button to access the lower level did not appear on the elevator panel.

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue where, while utilizing a controller in Trauma Drama, the controllable character would default to shooting upwards instead of forward.
  • Players can now drop additional Cyberware Capacity Shards if some within the intended drop limit were previously overlooked.
  • Resolved an issue causing automatic weapons to discharge slower than intended.
  • Addressed an issue where the Official BARGHEST Tac Vest did not drop from the designated Airdrop as intended.
  • The level 60 Engineer perk will no longer activate the EMP blast outside of combat or after entering a vehicle.
  • Added an option to replay the gameplay tutorial at any moment.

    via Settings → Controls.

Miscellaneous

  • Introduced an option to request Johnny to leave after you’ve gazed at him for a brief moment when he appears in the passenger seat. He understands the signal and vanishes as a passenger for a few days.
  • Resolved an issue where the audio of V’s Radioport could be sporadically interrupted by the Radioports of adjacent NPCs.
  • Corrected a problem where History by Gazelle Twin and Trash Generation was played too loudly compared to other tracks on the radio.
  • Refined the HDR Setting interface: fixed the HDR calibration preview to accurately display the selected options and enhanced the explanation of the “Tone-Mapping Midpoint” setting.
  • Revised the End User License Agreement. You will need to accept it once more when you load the game after the update.
  • Addressed multiple visual problems involving missing, clipping, or floating textures.
  • Rectified several localization discrepancies across different languages.

Console-specific

  • Included VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
  • Resolved an issue where vegetation was not correctly influenced by weather conditions on PlayStation 5.

Original Story: CD Projekt Red will present Patch 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 tomorrow (the 16th of July), through a dedicated livestream. It begins at 4pm BST / 5pm CEST.

Enthusiasts of the RPG have been anticipating this update. Patch 2.3 was initially scheduled for release last month, on the 26th of June, but it was postponed to guarantee its quality.

We would wager on the update becoming available this week, as the developer typically briefs these patches shortly before their release. Occasionally, they’ve launched on the same day as the stream — although this Thursday seems more promising, particularly since the game’s also debuting on Mac.

Patch 2.3 is reportedly of a comparable scope to Patch 2.2, which introduced vehicle customization, a plethora of new character appearance options, and significant photo mode enhancements.

Judging by the playful wording of this announcement (how many car puns can one social media post contain?), it appears players can anticipate new vehicle functionalities.

We will, of course, present all of the pertinent information right here on Push Square — so be sure to return tomorrow.
