Welcome to ‘Ninsight’
Ninty Media, the organization responsible for publications like The Vita Lounge, Switch Player, and Ninty Fresh, has initiated a Kickstarter initiative for an endeavor named ‘Ninsight’.
With the inaugural issue set to be released globally in August, Ninsight aspires to deliver the newest Nintendo-related news, critiques, and discussion topics in a high-quality, 80-100 page magazine free of advertisements. As of now, more than half of the Kickstarter’s £5,000 target has been reached with 16 days to go.
As stated in the summary, the transition to Ninsight was prompted by increasing expenses in sustaining production for Switch Player. Shifting to a new framework that emphasizes fewer publications and superior content should ideally lead to a more sustainable business in the long run.
You can make a contribution at this moment if you desire, with digital editions of the magazine priced at £4 and printed versions at £7. A premium edition available for £20 will also feature an art print of the cover as well as a poster. Supporters of the premium edition will receive an enamel pin badge and their names featured in the magazine.
So if you long for the times of NGamer and ONM, this could indeed be worth considering. We will certainly be monitoring its progress!
