Invading the shores on Xbox Game Pass?
Greetings to another weekend! As July progresses, another half-year of gaming has flown by in 2025 – with Microsoft showcasing an impressive lineup thus far this year. The Xbox Game Pass additions haven’t seen a decline either, offering numerous new titles to engage with via the service on Xbox & PC.
Here’s what we’re diving into this weekend:

A new Call of Duty title arrived on Xbox Game Pass last week, and I plan to spend some time with it this weekend. As I mentioned previously on the site, I believe COD: WWII is among the finest entries in the series in recent years, and it continues to exemplify how modern technology blends with classic Call of Duty principles. I’ll be taking down some Game Pass newcomers over there this weekend.
Aside from that, I doubt I’ll get to much more gaming, to be honest. I intended to check out Rematch following Fraser’s rave review, but I haven’t managed to get to it yet. Here’s hoping I can fit in a game or two there as well!
Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend.

I definitely require a break after this week! You won’t find me much on Pure Xbox over the next few days, but I will be engaging with some Xbox games – actually, I’m hoping to play one specific title that I can’t disclose just yet. A review for it will be published on the website shortly, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed it will meet expectations.
Beyond that, I’m considering Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Cricket 24, perhaps some Baldur’s Gate 3, or even some Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. There’s plenty for me to catch up on Xbox Game Pass too, and I still haven’t wrapped up South of Midnight or Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 yet. I’ll get to it – it’s just been a hectic year thus far!
Enjoy your weekend, everyone.
