Street Fighter 6’s First Season 3 Character Arrives This August
Update []: After Capcom confirmed a release date for Sagat last week, it has now launched the official “Sagat Arrives” Fighting Pass. You can gain a clearer insight into the “premium rewards” available in the video above.
Once more, there are items such as EX Colors for Ryu and Ken, additional titles and music, fresh avatar apparel, new challenger screen artwork, and even an extra classic game ‘Tiger Road‘. There will also be some “complimentary rewards” accessible.
Regarding Sagat, this character is scheduled to be available next month on 5th August 2025. Earlier this week, Capcom also disclosed a new Street Fighter 6 x Aespa collaboration which also debuts today.

Capcom has recently disclosed the Season 3 DLC lineup for Street Fighter 6, affirming that Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid would be joining the fray. Now, in an update during its Spotlight presentation today, the company has solidified a date for the first fighter.
With a short teaser today, it has been asserted that the iconic character and “emperor of Muay Thai” Sagat will be making his comeback on 5th August 2025. You will also have the chance to explore his themed stage, nestled deep within the mountains of Thailand.
Leading up to this release date, the “Sagat Arrives” Fighting Pass will be accessible on 4th July 2025. It comes filled with EX Colors, additional titles and music, avatar attire, new challenger screen illustrations and effects, emotes, stickers, and the playable classic game Tiger Road.
Capcom has also provided an update regarding the paid ‘Outfit 4’ content – confirming seven characters will receive these outfits first, with the rest of the roster to follow. All of this content is in the “final stages of refinement” and the team will present Sagat gameplay at a later date.
