Kojima U-Turns on Death Stranding 2 Review Scores, ‘Happy’ with Them

Hideo Kojima endeavored tirelessly to craft a more polarizing title after it emerged that Death Stranding 2 was “too excellent”, yet his attempts fell short: the PS5 title is celebrated with a solid 90 on Metacritic.

The extensive acclaim seems to be something he now takes pride in, as Kojima shared he’s “content” with the critical ratings at the London segment of the game’s global tour. During an audience interaction, Geoff Keighley quizzed Kojima about his feelings now that the game is available.

However, it seems the glimmer and admiration of a Metacritic score of 90 has swayed him.
