Halo Studios Confirms Major Reveal To Take Place Later This Year

“We anticipate the dialogue will persist”

We’ve been anticipating for some time for Halo Studios to disclose what lies ahead for the Halo series, and now we officially have a month to note in our calendars – the developer indicates October 2025 is when we’ll be learning more specifics.

More precisely, during the Halo World Championship 2025 from October 24th to October 26th, Halo Studios will provide us “the official details about what [we’ve] been developing”, as announced on the Halo Waypoint site today.

“In recent weeks, there’s been a considerable amount of speculation regarding when and where further details might arise concerning any of the various projects Halo Studios is diligently pursuing. We typically do not comment on such topics, but this time we wish to join the discussion and offer a bit more insight for Halo enthusiasts who may be undecided about attending this year’s event.”

“Speculation is always enjoyable, but if you seek the official information on what Halo Studios has been engaged in, you’ll not want to overlook this year’s Halo World Championship.”

Now, before you become overly thrilled, we might not uncover details about all of those various projects – Halo Studios states their prior “New Dawn” update was “merely the start” of a conversation that will proceed at the Halo Championship.

However, they do assert that we will learn “what Halo Studios has been working on” – and Xbox chief Phil Spencer hinted not long ago that a new Halo game is set to release in 2026. At minimum, we are looking forward to gaining more insight into what that entails, likely in the form of a Halo: Combat Evolved remaster or remake.
