By We are merely a few weeks into Fortnite‘s Star Wars season, yet given that the season lasts only five weeks, it signifies we’re already nearing the conclusion. Once the Star Wars season concludes, everything will revert to the usual in Battle Royale and Zero Build–or perhaps there’s nothing usual whatsoever about what’s ahead next season.
At this moment, we hold significantly more inquiries (approximately 7,000) than we possess responses (roughly 0) regarding what lies ahead for the Fortnite island once these Star Wars characters depart, but let’s examine the speculations and conjectures we have accumulated thus far.
Will the forthcoming Fortnite season be Chapter 6 Season 3 or Chapter 6 Season 4?
Currently, we lack a verified response to this query, but since the Star Wars season is labeled in the game’s metadata as Chapter 6 MS1 (mini-season 1), it is reasonable to assume that the next season will be termed Season 3. This also suggests, but does not verify, intentions for additional mini-seasons in the future.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 commencement date

Live finale event of Fortnite Star Wars season
As promised by Epic at the season’s onset, the Star Wars Galactic Battle season will culminate in a live event where players will launch an assault on the Death Star and face Emperor Palpatine to halt the Empire’s incursion of the island. This will be a genuine live event, akin to those that occur at the conclusion of each chapter, and it’s scheduled for Saturday, June 7 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET.
Theme for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4
There are speculations that the next season of Battle Royale will adopt a superhero theme, albeit in a more traditional capes-and-tights style–with Midas supposedly operating a school for superheroes. It’s rumored that the new season will have a DC Comics influence, which aligns with a new Superman film releasing in July. Furthermore, since Fortnite’s only existing Superman skin is permanently locked behind the Chapter 2 Season 7 battle pass from 2021, the speculation regarding a new item shop Superman is quite plausible.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 battle pass characters
It’s expected that the new season will introduce a standard battle pass featuring several Fortnite-original characters and one or two collaboration skins. It’s highly probable that a new corrupted version of Daigo will be included in the pass, since the cinematic at Season 2’s conclusion depicted Daigo entering the magical portal in the northeastern area of the island and transforming into a vastly different form. Beyond that, the single rumored collaborative skin for the battle pass is Robin–yes, we’re referring to Batman’s companion here.
Modifications in gameplay for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3
All the speculations and leaks regarding the forthcoming season being superhero-themed also indicate that superpowers will play a significant role in your toolkit for the new season. Not gadgets like we experienced in last year’s Marvel season, but genuine super-powered capabilities–elements similar to the mythic Jujutsu Kaisen and Dragon Ball items, or Avatar’s elemental powers.
Fortnite OG Season 4
Season 4 of Fortnite OG will also commence on June 8, possibly due to the original Season 4 also having a superhero theme. While Fortnite OG will undoubtedly maintain the loot pool and map that the original Season 4 featured, we can’t help but be curious if there will be narrative links between OG and standard Battle Royale given the coinciding launch dates.
In the meantime, Epic appears to have been hinting at the return of The Visitor, whose entrance with the meteor in the original Season 4 initiated Fortnite’s narrative, with this remix of an old Seven-related music track that seems to showcase a modified version of The Visitor’s head and shoulders on its cover art. The Visitor would have been an ideal candidate for a remix even without that tease, thus no one would be astonished if he made an appearance on the new OG Pass.
New Lego Fortnite Pass
The new Lego Pass will also launch on June 8, and we lack rumors or any insights regarding what is to come. However, given the date, we have every reason to believe it will connect with this speculative superhero theme. Considering DC’s close association with Lego, it would not be surprising at all for one of that brand’s heroes to emerge here.
