Any highlights from this week’s promotions?

Another weekend has arrived, everyone! With the significant launch of DOOM: The Dark Ages now behind us, it’s been quite a calmer week in the Xbox universe – yet we still have plenty to dive into here.
Here’s what we’ll be playing over the weekend:

This weekend, my main focus is to dive into Robocop: Rogue City if I can manage it. I currently have access to the game on PS5 through PlayStation Plus, but honestly, I’m still considering picking up that Alex Murphy Edition on Xbox given how affordable it is right now. It’s part of a selection of remarkable deals that the publisher Nacon has available at the moment!
Aside from RoboCop, I’m interested in experimenting with the pair of simulators that just became available on Xbox Game Pass. Fraser has frequently mentioned how much he enjoys these titles, including Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, so I might give that a shot and see what my thoughts are. You can’t go wrong with a bit of sim craziness, can you?
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.

I recently acquired this stunning, stunning book on football video games titled A Tale of Two Halves, and it has completely put me in the mood for some classic sports games. I might revisit the Xbox 360 era and relish titles like 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa and LMA Manager 2007, or perhaps just engage with some UFL instead.
Additionally, I’m considering diving deeper into Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, more Precinct, and possibly even some RoboCop: Rogue City if I decide to take advantage of that amazing offer. The backlog is just so extensive at the moment though, and I’m taking forever to get through Expedition 33 alone – I really don’t need more games at this time!
Have a great weekend, everyone.
