It certainly seems like we frequently discuss Kluge Interactive’s VR rhythm game Synth Riders, right?

Following a recent free update last month, Synth Riders is introducing another intriguing pack of songs to explore. Featuring some tracks from — yikes — 30 years ago, the 90s Rock Music Pack adds yet another exciting layer to the DLC offerings for this game.

While we weren’t overly thrilled with the track selection in the Current Wave Music Pack, this new collection promises to deliver more popular tunes. And even better, it’s available now!

Fans of the original Rock Band will recognize some familiar names in this latest collection, featuring iconic tracks from the 90s rock era. If you decide to grab this newest pack, you can anticipate enjoying:

  • Red Hot Chili Peppers – Give It Away
  • Blur – Song 2
  • Soundgarden – Black Hole Sun
  • Radiohead – Creep
  • The Presidents Of The United States Of America – Lump

This pack includes several well-known songs that have stood the test of time in rhythm games — especially Black Hole Sun— although, unfortunately, it does not feature one of Synth Riders’ cherished Experiences. Nonetheless, it remains a robust playlist.

The pack is priced at $7.99 as a bundle, but you can also acquire the songs individually for $1.99 each. Is this something you’re considering? Do you prefer this pack over the previous one? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Graham Banas

For over ten years, Graham has been crafting reviews for Push Square. Throughout this timeframe, he has experienced countless memorable adventures, as well as a few flops. With a comprehensive understanding of games and developers, it’s no surprise that he can comfortably navigate any genre. However, when it comes time to pen a review, you’ll likely find him leaning towards music/rhythm games, and in recent times, VR. If you engage him in conversation about games for long enough, he will undoubtedly tell you that his all-time favorite game is Kentucky Route Zero.
