The enhanced remakes have garnered considerable praise from both critics and gamers, sparking a genuine enthusiasm for the series for the first time in years — perhaps even decades.
Naturally, without specific sales figures to refer to, we’re left to speculate — but Konami seems pleased with current developments.
Successful remakes like this can lead to increased optimism within companies, particularly regarding long-forgotten properties. The popularity of the 1&2 HD Remaster might even pave the way for new Suikoden endeavors.
