Charlie Cox says Daredevil: Born Again season 2 includes a flashback to a 10-year-old scene from 2015: “Makes me feel pretty old”

Charlie Cox reveals that Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is revisiting the original 2015 Netflix series.

“I performed a flashback scene with another character. However, we’re going back to 2015, the year we launched the show. So, I’m revisiting a scene I filmed myself. Wow, it makes me feel quite aged,” Cox shared with On the Red Carpet. You can check out the short clip below.

Due to Cox’s mention of “me and another character,” some fans speculate that he might be referring to Foggy, who was brutally killed within the first few minutes of Daredevil: Born Again season 1 episode 1. Showrunner Dario Scardapane and executive producer Sana Amanat have indicated that Foggy would return, making it logical for him to appear in flashback form.

Alternatively, the scene could potentially feature Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones – who will officially join Born Again season 2, effectively making her a formal part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Jon Bernthal’s Punisher (which raises the possibility of a Defenders reunion). This announcement was made during Disney‘s Upfronts presentation.
