Numerous choices available on both consoles!

Earlier today, we announced that Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy will receive its official next-gen update next week – and now the developer GSC Game World has shared additional insights on performance across Xbox Series X and S.
We’re seeing a variety of performance configurations on both Xbox Series consoles – although it’s worth noting that only Xbox Series X will achieve 120FPS, which is not surprising.
Here are all the gameplay configurations for Stalker Trilogy on Xbox Series X|S:
- Xbox Series X: Quality (native 4K/30 FPS), Balanced (upscaled 4K/40 FPS), Performance (upscaled 4K/60 FPS), Ultra Performance (upscaled 2K/120 FPS)
- Xbox Series S: Quality (native 2K/30 FPS), Balanced (upscaled 2K/40 FPS), Performance (1080p/60 FPS)
These settings appear to be excellent options overall, and we’re pleased to see the 40FPS mode available for both platforms. Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy performed well on these consoles through Xbox One backward compatibility – but this latest update will offer significantly greater versatility in gameplay preferences.
However, the overall game content will mostly remain unchanged from its console launch last year. If you’d like to explore our overall impressions about Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy, we’ll include our 2024 review below.
