Three limited-time offerings

Despite the buzz surrounding the upcoming Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy expansion, details had been scarce regarding the previously announced Final Fantasy Secret Lair offerings. Now, Wizards of the Coast has unveiled the items included in the drops along with the themes connecting the featured cards.

The Final Fantasy Secret Lairs will form part of the Summer Superdrop, launching on June 9 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. There are three Final Fantasy Secret Lair drops:

  • Secret Lair x Final Fantasy: Game Over
    • Five cards, all centered around Final Fantasy antagonists
  • Secret Lair x Final Fantasy: Weapons
    • Five cards, all focused on Final Fantasy weaponry
  • Secret Lair x Final Fantasy: Grimoire
    • Five cards, all highlighting Final Fantasy spells

The drops will be sold both individually and in bundles, some of which will include a Gilded Lotus promotional card. A list of the cards included in the Final Fantasy Secret Lair drop can be found below.

Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy is set to be released on June 13 in local game stores and major retailers. Prerelease events will commence on June 6 at local game stores, while the Secret Lair Summer Superdrop will start on June 9.
