Flirting with mortality

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a colossal RPG – one of the largest role-playing experiences in recent times, and it becomes even more extensive this week with its inaugural DLC pack; Brushes and Death.

Launching for Xbox consoles on Thursday, May 15th, Brushes and Death centers on “a skull, a secret, and an artist with a history,” as per the add-on’s teaser trailer. You can view it in the post below, which “starts with a whisper in the forest” as the main character Henry advances through 15th-century Bohemia.

This forthcoming DLC is a premium extension for the 2025 Xbox RPG, available within the game’s Expansion Pass; priced at £24.99 / $29.99 on the Microsoft Store. Two additional expansions are scheduled for this pass later, with ‘Legacy of the Forge’ arriving in autumn and ‘Mysteria Ecclesia’ during winter.

Developer Warhorse Studios released the first update for the game shortly after its major launch in February and has been fine-tuning it since. You can look forward to more updates, along with those two future expansions we just discussed, for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 throughout 2025.
