A fresh Humble Bundle is presenting approximately $214/£161 worth of games released by Xbox Games Studios for only $10/£8 – featuring several fantastic and often underrated titles.

This Xbox Game Studios bundle includes classic CRPG Wasteland 3, gripping crime narrative As Dusk Falls, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, Tim Schafer’s revival of point-and-click adventure games, Broken Age, the surprisingly entertaining Battletoads reboot, and an unofficial (due to legalities) entry in the Remedy Connected Universe: the time-manipulating Quantum Break.

However, in my opinion, there are two standout titles that make this bundle one you shouldn’t overlook. First is Ori and the Will of the Wisps, a breathtakingly beautiful metroidvania sequel that boasts some of the most polished platforming in the genre, along with an enhanced and enjoyable combat system. No surprise it has earned 96% positive user reviews on Steam.

Next up is Sunset Overdrive, the underrated open-world adventure developed by Insomniac prior to their work on Marvel’s Spider-Man. While it’s not a direct comparison, this title could be regarded as their breakthrough hit. Sunset Overdrive offers a plethora of outrageous, explosive weapons reminiscent of Ratchet & Clank, set in a vibrant urban playground where players can bounce off vehicles, grind on power lines, and wall-run across skyscrapers – it’s truly an open-world platformer that maintains relentless momentum.

You have the opportunity to snag all eight games on Humble Bundle for the following 12 days.

Additionally, each purchase aids the charity Gameheads, which identifies itself as a “tech training initiative that leverages video game design, development, and DevOps to cultivate diverse talent and new voices, equipping youth of color for the tech ecosystem and preparing them for higher education, careers, and community involvement.”
