For the moment

Incredible! EA might just be on the right track for a change!
While it appeared unavoidable that all developers would move to $80 game prices, with both Microsoft and Nintendo already implementing it, EA has proclaimed it has no intentions of raising the prices for its games, which include massive franchises like EA Sports FC, Battlefield, and EA Sports College Football.
In discussions with investors, as cited by IGN, CEO Andrew Wilson mentioned that the company’s foremost objective is to “provide exceptional quality and substantial value for our gaming community,” highlighting the achievement of the recent cooperative sensation Split Fiction, which debuted at a more affordable price and has successfully surpassed four million sales.
“Ultimately, regardless of whether our offerings are priced at a dollar, ten dollars, or a hundred dollars, our aim remains to deliver outstanding quality and significant value for our playerbase,” Wilson articulated.
“What we have realized over time is that when we blend quality and value, our business thrives, remains resilient, and continues to expand.”
CFO Stuart Canfield remarked: “From a forecasting standpoint, we have indicated no modifications to our current pricing approach at this moment.”
Of course, circumstances can shift swiftly, so EA isn’t entirely dismissing the notion of $80 games. Nonetheless, for the time being, it maintains its pricing structure, which is positive news for the publisher’s forthcoming offerings, including this year’s array of sports titles.
