If you enjoy utilizing Xbox Cloud Gaming on your console and prefer playing with a mouse and keyboard, there’s exciting news – Microsoft has revealed that this functionality is being introduced starting today!
Xbox Insiders in the Alpha Skip-Ahead segment will be the first to experience this, as it enables you to engage with a “select” array of titles using your mouse and keyboard on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S through the cloud.
“Keyboard and mouse enthusiasts cheer! With the recent updates to Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta), you can now leverage mouse and keyboard controls to enjoy some of your beloved Xbox cloud games on your Xbox console. Similar to the existing functionality on PC and in various browsers, there are currently a limited number of titles that accept mouse and keyboard input, but additional games will be added soon.”
We’ve identified over 50 games acquiring this feature through Xbox Cloud Gaming so far, such as Halo Infinite, Sea of Thieves, Fortnite, and many others – although a comprehensive list has not yet been released by Microsoft.
