Even though it debuted directly on Game Pass, Oblivion Remastered has achieved some notably remarkable sales in the US.

In merely its initial week following launch, the expansive RPG secured the position of the third best-selling game in the region for 2025, with only Monster Hunter Wilds and Assassin’s Creed Shadows ranking higher in terms of revenue.

Unsurprisingly, Oblivion topped the sales chart for the week ending April 26 — as indicated by Circana analyst Mat Piscatella.

Furthermore, it’s important to mention that Oblivion Remastered was shadow dropped on April 22. It did not have an official promotional campaign until its release day, although leaks and speculation arguably created more buzz than a traditional marketing push might have

Prior to this information being revealed, Bethesda disclosed that the remaster had surpassed 4 million players in its initial days, showcasing its popularity.

We also wouldn’t be astonished if it continued to perform well in sales in the upcoming months, particularly since major updates are on the horizon at developer Virtuos.
