Poor old Days Gone has certainly been overlooked once more.
You might be excused for not remembering that the remastered iteration of Bend Studio’s open-world game has premiered on the PS5 today, as attention is fixed on Bethesda’s own Oblivion re-release and the intriguingly unique Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
To make matters worse, Deacon St. John’s reimagined debut has yet to receive any reviews at this point.
This is largely because, despite the game acquiring a strong fan base these days, Sony didn’t distribute promotional codes until mere hours before its launch.
This means our adventurous zombie eliminator, Liam Croft, is currently navigating the desolate roads, but it’ll take him a little time to determine how this version of the game enhances its PS4 counterpart, as well as how the new features perform.
We will certainly provide you with our opinion as soon as we can, but we just wanted to clarify why you haven’t seen a review from us yet – or any other site, for that matter, at this time.
If you already own Days Gone, it’s worth noting that upgrading to the PS5 remaster costs only $10. However, if you need further advice on whether this specific game is worth the upgrade investment, we’ll keep you updated in the following days.
