Update []: Numerous retailers in the US and Canada initiated their Switch 2 pre-orders at 9pm PT (Wed) / 12am ET (Thu), coinciding with the amiibo pre-orders. Explore the pre-order options below for Walmart, Best Buy, and GameStop (which is still marked as “coming soon” at this point), and best of luck securing those new Zelda treasures!
Original Story: Just when you assumed Nintendo had concluded its long-standing series of NFC figures, a new collection of Zelda amiibo emerges to draw you back in.
Indeed, there’s a new set of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (alongside Street Fighter) amiibo launching concurrently with Switch 2 on June 5. Fan-favourites Riju, Sidon, Yunobo, and Tulin will be featured, with a larger amiibo of Mineru’s Construct to be released later.
To assist you in obtaining the figures you desire, we’ll be monitoring stock availability across all credible retailers and providing updates here in this guide. US pre-orders kick off on April 24th, so don’t forget to bookmark this page (or just keep the tab open—do people still use bookmarks?) and return later.

Before we proceed, keep in mind that currently you’ll only discover US retailers listed below, and while the pages are active, pre-orders aren’t available yet—those will go live on April 24th.
Additionally, we’ll include UK retailers when the pages become available.
Riju amiibo (5th June)
Firstly, we have Riju, the Gerudo leader.
Riju is among the Sages in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. She succeeded her mother as chief of the Gerudo Tribe after her passing, diligently striving to prove her capabilities. After battling alongside Link to liberate Gerudo Town, she acquired a secret stone and emerged as the Sage of Lightning.
Sidon amiibo (5th June)
Next, it’s the beloved Sidon, the Zora.
Sidon serves as one of the Sages in the Legend of Zelda™: Tears of the Kingdom. As King Dorephan’s son, he is an avid Zora passionate about justice, defending the realm with earnestness and zeal. Through collaboration with Link, he obtained a secret stone and ascended as the Sage of Water.
Yunobo amiibo (5th June)
The Goron sage Yunobo successfully manages a thriving business while attending to his sagely responsibilities.
Yunobo is one of the Sages in the Legend of Zelda™: Tears of the Kingdom. A long-time companion of Link, he acquired a secret stone and emerged as the Sage of Fire. He is also the President of YunoboCo, a firm focused on aiding Gorons in flourishing through mining.
Tulin amiibo (5th June)
Finally, Tulin arrives in amiibo form.
Tulin is another Sage in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. As a young Rito who battled alongside Link to save his village from an unusual incident, he demonstrated significant growth and valor, obtaining a secret stone and awakening as the Sage of Wind.
Mineru’s Construct amiibo (TBA)
Also scheduled for “later release” is yet another new Zelda amiibo: Mineru’s Construct.
This mech-like figure that you will gain access to further along in the game doesn’t have extensive details available yet. However, we anticipate it will be a larger figure, in line with the BOTW Guardian amiibo rather than the smaller pieces.
We’ll keep this guide updated with new information as soon as we receive news about Mineru’s Construct amiibo.
Additionally, there are the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition versions of the games, which feature enhancements like improved frame rates and screen resolutions, alongside compatibility with the upcoming Zelda Notes application to help you locate Korok seeds and track your in-game metrics, among other features.
Zelda TOTK Sage amiibo Release Date
The TOTK sages are set to launch on June 5th, 2025, coinciding with the debut of Switch 2. A multitude of exciting releases coming your way this Thursday!
What benefits do the Zelda sage amiibo provide?
Scanning them in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom rewards you with various weapons and consumable items. Specifically in TOTK, you’ll have an opportunity to acquire a unique paraglider fabric. Just scan it daily, and you’ll receive it in due time.
Moreover, another Switch 2 Zelda game is scheduled for release this year—Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. We believe amiibo functionality will be integrated there, but we’ll refresh this guide once we can confirm details.
