The one from my fantasies

As indicated by various recent leaks, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered has officially launched on PS5, following its announcement.

While it carries the ‘Remastered’ label, this revival significantly resembles a remake. Engineered using Unreal Engine 5, it features an entirely new graphical design, along with several enhancements across the gameplay.

Fresh animations have been integrated into combat and general movement, and the user interface has been fully redesigned, taking inspiration from the original game.

Indeed, the core of the game remains the classic Oblivion, so you can anticipate the same physics and structural design as before.

Additionally, The Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine—Oblivion’s two expansion packs—are included in the Remastered version.

Oblivion Remastered has been created by Virtuos, a third-party studio primarily located in France, with the original developer Bethesda overseeing the process.

Moreover, Oblivion Remastered is now available for purchase in North America and Europe, with a price tag of $49.99 / £49.99, while the Deluxe Edition is available for $59.99 / £59.99.

This Deluxe Edition includes:

  • Akatosh Armor Sets & Weapons
  • Mehrunes Dagon Armor Sets & Weapons
  • Digital Artbook and Soundtrack App

On PS5, the game occupies a substantial 119GB, so be prepared to clear some space on your console’s hard drive.
