We are officially declaring today Oblivion Remastered day, with an abundance of unexpected news surging our way, and now Microsoft has introduced yet another excitement – a fresh dynamic background for Xbox Series X and S consoles.
Indeed, in honor of the release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Team Green has enhanced its growing collection of Xbox dynamic backgrounds. The animated wallpaper draws inspiration from the image above, and The Verge’s Tom Warren has showcased the video version of this on social media – which we’ll link below as well.
We may be swept up in the Oblivion excitement at the moment, but this new dynamic background certainly has the potential to assert its place on our consoles – it appears quite impressive and features a decent level of animation. You can set the background right away on Microsoft’s latest-gen consoles.
As for what else is unfolding in the realm of Oblivion Remastered, well, what’s not happening?! The game has just been stealthily released on Xbox Game Pass, we have a wealth of technical specifications and insights from Microsoft regarding the remastered version, and it appears to be performing phenomenally well already.
