Capcom is also introducing ‘Hell Mode’ in Onimusha 1
Capcom is preparing for the re-release of Onimusha 2 next month, and with that, they have announced a special digital bundle. For those who haven’t experienced the first or second installment, there’s an opportunity to grab the “Onimusha 1+2 Bundle“.
This collection will launch on the same day as Onimusha 2 Samurai’s Destiny, set for May 23, 2025. Although this bundle won’t be available for pre-order, early buyers can look forward to receiving an album selection pack as a perk, identical to the bonus provided with Onimusha 2. The pricing details for this bundle are yet to be disclosed, and there are no indications of a physical edition for it.
Alongside this new dual-title offer, Capcom has also announced that Onimusha: Warlords will soon receive an additional challenge called “Hell Mode.” This will roll out later this week as a complimentary update. This challenging mode will also be added to the sequel and has been characterized by director Motohide Eshiro as an “extremely challenging difficulty level,” in which one hit results in a game over.
