Easter Adventure Day

Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 577 1

As we embrace Easter, there’s much more to engage in than simply devouring chocolate shaped like eggs and bunnies. That is the main goal for many, however, the gaming backlog doesn’t take a holiday, particularly not during a lengthy weekend. Here’s a glimpse of our activities!

Aaron Bayne

I intended to invest some hours into Destiny 2 this weekend, but the recent update for Lords of the Fallen has compelled me to start a new save file and experience it alongside a friend.

Jamie O’Neill

I plan to pilot a mech in PS1’s Armored Core, and I will also attempt to determine if I’m more machine than human in RoboCop: Rogue City. I suppose Dick Jones already knows the answer — he’s a cyborg, silly!

Robert Ramsey

With Oblivion Remastered looming just days away (supposedly!), I’m in a frantic hurry to wrap up several things before it consumes my leisure time. This means completing side quests in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, finishing my grind in Monster Hunter Wilds (at least for now), and concluding an enjoyable run through RoboCop: Rogue City. It’s set to be a hectic weekend.

Simon Fitzgerald

“Day 49 in the Big Br– inherited mansion, and Simon is still drafting rooms and cracking codes.” Blue Prince will be my sole focus during this extended weekend, and there’s certainly ample content to keep me occupied. I’ve been jotting down puzzle notes like a maniac; even my wife had to intervene to stop me from doodling on our living room walls. I just know there’s a new clue or solution lurking somewhere!

Stephen Tailby

One title I’m eager to explore is the demo for Unbeatable, which I have been anticipating for quite a while. Nonetheless, the primary allure is Forza Horizon 5 — stay tuned for a review soon.

That wraps it up for us, but what about everyone else? As always, feel free to share your weekend gaming plans in the comments below — and happy Easter to all those who celebrate.
