The cost of Switch 2 accessories in the US has been formally revised by Nintendo “due to shifts in market dynamics,” and there are indications that this might also affect amiibo prices shortly.

As per the latest GameStop entries, the upcoming collection of Zelda amiibo (set to launch concurrently with the Switch 2 versions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom) is expected to see a price hike. GameStop currently lists the new Tulin, Yunobo, Sidon, and Riju amiibo at $29.99 USD.

That’s not all; the Luke, Kimberly, and Jamie amiibo for Capcom’s Switch 2 version of Street Fighter 6 are tagged at $39.99 USD. This reflects reportedly a $10 increase for both sets.

Keep in mind that these are merely the current prices displayed on GameStop’s platform. Earlier this month, as we pointed out, listings on Best Buy in the US already showed the new Zelda amiibo at $19.99 and the Street Fighter 6 amiibo priced at $29.99 each.

Nintendo has not officially confirmed the pricing for this new batch of amiibo in this region or included these figures in the North American My Nintendo Stores yet.

The Zelda amiibo grants you access to exclusive fabric for Link’s paraglider, as well as various weapons and materials for your journey. Meanwhile, the SF6 amiibo enables you to store and retrieve your character’s appearance, control configurations, and acquire unique items.

We’ll keep you updated on any noteworthy changes regarding the prices of these new amiibo.
