Star Wars Zero Company was recently revealed at the Star Wars Celebration 2025, and enthusiasts are excited as it draws from some of the finest elements of the Star Wars saga.

Star Wars Zero Company stands apart from other titles, however. Created by Respawn and Bit Reactor (a newly established studio comprising former XCOM developers), this is a solo turn-based strategy title that incorporates elements reminiscent of Fire Emblem, allowing players to develop relationships with their team to gain advantages in battles.

Set against the backdrop of the prequel era’s Clone Wars, Zero Company incorporates influences from nearly all periods of the Star Wars universe. During a panel at Star Wars Celebration Japan, Bit Reactor CEO and game director Greg Foertsch expressed that the team draws inspiration from the political complexities of Andor, the realistic combat viewpoint of Rogue One, and the legendary adventure style of the original trilogy.

“We admire how these narratives honor the intellect and engagement of the Star Wars audience, and we aim to uphold that standard,” he elaborated. “None of the characters in Zero Company are without flaws or safe from lethal encounters.”

“We have consistently illustrated the complexity of this conflict, showcasing all its nuances, but I genuinely believe Zero Company will provide players their first real chance to interact with this intricacy,” Lucasfilm creative executive Kelsey Sharpe remarked.

Star Wars Celebration also revealed updates about an animated series featuring the infamous Darth Maul, along with Anakin Skywalker making a comeback in Ahsoka Season 2.
