The Mario Kart World Direct has come and gone, and we discovered… not an overwhelming amount of information, to be honest. However, we did receive a brand new set of images from Nintendo, highlighting most of our upcoming racers with some impressive close-ups.
This version seems to present the largest character lineup in the series’ history, boasting an extraordinary array of characters available for selection, along with even more choices if you factor in all the unlockable costumes. We are already analyzing every confirmed character in our guide, but if you wish to catch a glimpse of some of the new additions, check out the following gallery for a sneak peek.

Phew, that’s quite a bit to absorb, isn’t it? It’s entirely possible we’ll learn even more about Mario Kart World as we approach its launch on June 5th. But we’re already pondering if it’s time for a new main character…
