“I’m ensuring I don’t reveal anything”

Xbox’s gaming lineup for 2025 is already looking quite promising, with titles like Avowed and South of Midnight already released, and upcoming games such as DOOM: The Dark Ages and The Outer Worlds 2. However, Xbox’s leader Phil Spencer also appears thrilled about the titles that have yet to be unveiled this year.
In a recent discussion with Variety, Spencer was asked about the remaining titles for 2025 that excite him, and he couldn’t resist hinting at what Microsoft still has up its sleeve.
Looking ahead for this calendar year, I genuinely feel optimistic about our game lineup. We just had “Avowed” launch, and I must mention that Obsidian is doing an excellent job. We’ve discussed “The Outer Worlds 2,” “South of Midnight,” “Doom.” There’s additional content, including some unannounced titles, and I’m consciously making an effort to avoid leaking anything.
Although we shouldn’t speculate too extensively about these undisclosed games since they’re under wraps, considering the sheer volume of leaks we’ve witnessed for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered—it seems reasonable to count that as a possible teaser from Phil Spencer.
Regarding the others, it appears that Oblivion Remastered is not the only re-release we might anticipate. Rumors have surfaced about a possible Gears of War remaster in development, along with other speculated remasters like Fallout 3 Remastered. It seems that Xbox has a lot in store for us in the upcoming months and years, and Phil Spencer appears eager to share more. The Xbox Games Showcase 2025 is just around the corner!
Is there anything in particular you’re hoping the boss is hinting at? Let us know in the comments.
