The very first officially licensed brick-building set for The Elder Scrolls franchise has returned to availability at Amazon. Designed by Mega Bloks and initially launched last November, the Skyrim-themed collector set allows enthusiasts to construct a poseable display model of Alduin, The World Eater. The 627-piece kit is very reasonably priced at only $50, which likely added to its initial success.

This set is one of three Mega Bloks creations inspired by Bethesda’s role-playing games that debuted in November. The other two building kits are themed around Fallout and faced similar challenges regarding availability during the holiday season and into earlier this year.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Alduin Collector Building Set (619 Pieces)

$50

Mega’s Alduin dragon building kit comprises 619 pieces. The finished model is truly impressive given the affordable price point. Alduin boasts a significant wingspan of 25.5 inches. While the set itself is constructed from bricks, Mega has employed fabric for the wings, lending it a more natural look.

The character serves as a buildable action figure with movable joints. You can open Alduin’s mouth to simulate Fire or Frost Breath, reposition his legs, and rotate his wings to create a dynamic pose as if the god-king is preparing to soar. The accompanying flight stand features an adjustable lever to enhance pose options. A Skyrim logo plaque connects to the front of the stand.

Alduin was the ruler of Skyrim during the Merethic Era. The famed dragon is known by various names, but Mega chose to highlight Alduin’s most popular epithet, “World Eater.”

The kit additionally includes a Dragonborn figure, which is appropriately smaller by design. Nevertheless, the player-character figure is quite detailed in its own regard. Dovah-Kiin includes several detachable accessories, such as the iconic helmet from Skyrim, a sword, and body armor.

Enthusiasts of Bethesda RPGs should also take a look at the recently restocked Mega Bloks sets inspired by the Fallout series. The T-60 Power Armor Collection was launched in November but quickly sold out following its preorder period last summer. This Amazon-exclusive kit features five Power Armor action figures, each with designs and color patterns from Fallout 4:

  • Vault-Tec
  • Brotherhood of Steel Paladin
  • Rusted
  • Hot Rod Flames
  • Military

The
Power Armor Collection is primarily a miniature action figure assortment rather than a traditional building kit. However, you will assemble five models that function as display bases. Each of the figures is capable of holding a small accessory, such as a bottle of Nuka Cola Dark, a shotgun, or an edition of Hot Rodder Magazine.

Fallout: Red Rocket Truck Stop Building Set (824 pieces)

$80

In addition, a larger Fallout Mega Bloks set offers a more complex assembly process. Similar to the two sets mentioned earlier, the 824-piece Red Rocket Truck Stop model was released in November and quickly sold out prior to its official launch.

The dilapidated truck stop employs most of the pieces, and this set also includes a Sole Survivor figure, a T60 Power Armor figure with a buildable rig stand, Dogmeat the Dog, a Nuka Cola vending machine, and additional accessories like a miniature Pip Boy figure.

You can showcase the T60 Power Armor figure alongside the five figures from the previous set, or all six figures can occupy the truck stop display.
