And Bowser Jr. already possesses the unique design!

The Switch 2 era is here and Nintendo has been refreshing various elements, including its Parental Controls video that features Bowser Jr. and his father.
This new video serves as a significant update – with Bowser’s Switch replaced by a surprisingly advanced Switch 2 (yes, he’s already using it) and Mario Kart World now prominently displayed throughout the gameplay footage. Additionally, Bowser has refreshed his wallpaper of Peach…to another image of Princess Peach.
You can take a look at what this new video looks like compared to the previous one below (thanks, IGN):
Earlier this week, Nintendo also revealed that the Parental Controls app can additionally be used to help children enjoy the new GameChat feature “safely.”
This functionality allows parents to approve friends, manage their child’s video chat access, and other various settings on the Switch 2. You can view the full video of this below:
GameChat can also be utilized with the new camera accessory and is included with any Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Furthermore, Nintendo has announced a special limited-time promotion for GameChat:
“Until March 31, 2026, GameChat can be accessed without a Nintendo Switch Online membership. After this date, a Nintendo Switch Online membership will be necessary to use GameChat.”
Will you make use of the parental controls app when the Switch 2 launches? What about the new GameChat and camera features? Let us know in the comments.
