Games Joining Game Pass In April 2025

Microsoft has announced a variety of games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass this month, featuring plenty of impressive inclusions.

South of Midnight marks the significant release from Xbox and Compulsion Games this month. The We Happy Few developer has developed a single-player narrative-adventure game inspired by the Deep South of the United States. It is set to launch on April 8, but individuals possessing the Premium Version can start playing five days earlier, on April 3.

Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition is also being added to the service, featuring all four campaign expansions, Director’s Cut content, and cosmetic packs. This popular shooter serves as a great lead-up to Borderlands 4, which is set for release in September.

Diablo IV is currently available on Game Pass, but if you’re interested in exploring older content, Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition also includes the Reapers of Souls expansion.

Still Wakes the Deep is a horror game released last year, set on an oil rig in the North Sea during the 1970s, creating a deeply immersive atmosphere.

Wargroove 2 is an exceptional strategy game that satisfies the nostalgic itch for classic Nintendo Advance Wars, while Hunt Showdown: 1896 is an exciting extraction shooter that takes place in a remote swamp.

All You Need is Help is a cooperative multiplayer puzzle game featuring cube-shaped creatures working together to achieve shared objectives, making it an ideal choice for family gaming and younger players.

Some Day One additions to Game Pass include Blue Prince, a unique puzzle game that stretches over 45 diverse rooms, launching on April 10. Commandos: Origins will launch on April 9, revisiting the six original commandos from the series and featuring two-player co-op multiplayer.
