Accessory manufacturer Genki – which gained attention for its Switch 2 teasers earlier this year – is hosting its own ‘Showcase’ presentation later today at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST / 2am AET (Thursday), promising approximately one minute of accessory announcements for the Nintendo Switch 2.
Initially, we suspected this was just an elaborate April Fool’s prank, but it seems to be a fun way for Genki to showcase its products following Nintendo’s upcoming Switch 2 Presentation. A link is provided to a video that directs you to the ‘NS2 Accessories’ section on Genki’s website, though it is currently empty at the time of writing.
Needless to say, we anticipate seeing items such as Joy-Con grips, carrying cases, screen protectors, and maybe even a Bluetooth controller or two.
In any case, the dam is about to break, and you can bet that Genki won’t be the only brand eager to market its Switch 2 accessories once Nintendo wraps up its highly-anticipated Presentation.
