Have you experienced ample Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition? No..? Exactly, ‘hang tight, we’re not quite finished yet.
As we approach the game’s launch on 20th March 2025 (indeed, tomorrow), we thought we would present you with one final glimpse featuring some gameplay. A solid 11 minutes worth! No commentary, no jokes, just pure gameplay to provide you an exquisite insight into what you should anticipate from Monolith’s wonderfully extensive narrative.
We must clarify that the footage does not strictly originate from the game’s initial area; indeed, the segments showcased in the video are from approximately the 20-hour mark (as opposed to the cutscene at the end; that arrives a bit sooner). There might not be anything we would consider a blatant spoiler, but if you prefer to dive into the game fresh, we don’t mind if you’d rather skip this.
That said, we believe some of you who might be less acquainted with the game will likely be curious about how it differentiates from the numbered titles. This segment of gameplay does well to highlight the differences in combat mechanics and exploration, so if that piques your interest, feel free to take a look.
We awarded Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition an impressive score of 10/10 in our review, describing it as “a meticulously crafted remake that offers us all the features and enhancements we could desire in terms of visual quality.” If you enjoy lengthy RPGs that do not compromise on engaging gameplay, this is undoubtedly one to check out.
