Eight video games trudge away PlayStation Plus next month
A brief notification for PlayStation Plus members – eight games will likely be departing the service in the upcoming weeks.
As indicated on the PlayStation Plus Last Chance to Play list, the games set to leave include:
- Animal Well
- Tales of Kenzera: ZAU
- Nour: Play with Your Food
- Lift Us Mars
- Miasma Chronicles
- Stray Blade
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits
- Slay the Spire
Many of us here at Eurogamer were quite intrigued by Animal Well upon its release last year, so it’s one I would recommend grabbing while you still can. We described this pixel-art, combat-free Metroidvania as “incredibly rich” in Eurogamer’s 5-star Animal Well review.
Another highlight departing from PlayStation’s subscription service is Tales of Kenzera: Zau. “What Tales of Kenzera lacks in inventive game design, it compensates for with significant, passionate storytelling,” states Eurogamer’s 4-star review of Tales of Kenzera: Zau.
Regarding Slay the Spire, it was definitely one of Eurogamer’s Games of the Year 2019. Our review, meanwhile, called it “a remarkable combination of dungeon-crawler and card-battler“.
However, while some games are leaving, several new games have debuted on PlayStation Plus this month. The PlayStation Plus Essential games for March – which are available now – include:
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PS5)
- Sonic Colors: Ultimate (PS4)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (PS4/PS5)
