Dave Mallow, a veteran voice actor renowned for his work in video games and animation, has passed away at the age of 76.

Sources in communication with TMZ reported that Mallow had been in hospice care for some time, with his health deteriorating recently. To many, Mallow was best known for voicing Baboo in Power Rangers and Angemon during the first two seasons of Digimon.

In the gaming world, he contributed his talents to numerous titles from Call of Duty and Blizzard, including Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (as Baseplate) and Diablo III (as Raziel the Dark One). He was also the English voice for Akuma in the Street Fighter series across various editions and Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Fellow Digimon voice actor Joshua Seth remembered Mallow as “one of the first voice actors who welcomed me in LA. […] We spent time watching classic films at his home in the hills and discussing voice acting. Look him up; I bet he voiced a character in a show you cherish. RIP, Dave.”

“Rest in Peace, beloved fellow voice actor,” said Hello Kitty voice actress Sandy Fox. “Your gentle spirit and radiant presence will be profoundly missed.”

Mallow is survived by his elder sister Marilyn, who also resides in the MonteCedro Senior Living Community.
