Even though it’s undeniable that FutureLab is refuting the speculations

Following years of substantial updates and downloadable content, developer FuturLab has today announced PowerWash Simulator 2. If that wasn’t enough excitement, it seems set to make its way onto Switch 2.
As the name implies, this is a full-fledged sequel to the 2022 hit (is that a fair term?), which invites you to blast away grime from an entirely new array of dirty collectibles. This installment introduces a fresh campaign, additional locations to explore, new cleaning tools, a spotless home base, and much more.
And yes, Switch 2! The trailer above confirms that this installment will also be available on PC, Xbox Series X, and PS5 consoles; however, Eurogamer has reported that the anticipated Nintendo console is likewise part of the release lineup.
Nonetheless, don’t get your hopes up too high just yet. A representative from FuturLab informed Gematsu that “there are no concrete plans” for a Switch 2 launch, although the studio expressed a desire to “release” on the new Nintendo console. “We do not have a timeline or additional details,” the statement concluded.
