The story revolves around a young couple (played by Nik Dodani and Brandon Flynn) who have arranged a perfect weekend retreat in the countryside to introduce their parents to one another. However, tensions rise from the outset, and it certainly doesn’t help that the house is haunted by a 400-year-old poltergeist. Brian Tyree Henry is already garnering acclaim for his role in Apple TV Plus’ latest crime drama, Dope Thief, which is a compelling reason to give it a watch this weekend. Featuring Narcos star Wagner Moura, the drama debuted this week, inspired by Dennis Tafoya’s novel of the same name.

The series centers on two lifelong friends and petty criminals from Philadelphia who find themselves in over their heads with their latest scheme. Impersonating DEA agents, the duo robs a seemingly empty house in the countryside, only to discover that they’ve inadvertently become involved in the largest hidden drug operation on the East Coast. And it’s not going well at all.
