
The Rise of Hydra: Dark Panther’s Role in 1943 Unfolds
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is reportedly targeting a holiday release window this Christmas.
This information comes from Khary Payton, who portrays the Marvel character Black Panther in the forthcoming game. In a conversation with The Direct regarding the release timeline for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Payton shared: “We’re still in the process. We’re anticipating 2025… We’re envisioning a Christmas timeframe. But I’m genuinely thrilled.”
So, perhaps this season it will be less about Santa and more about Marvel heroes as an alternative?
“I still can’t quite grasp that it’s coming to fruition,” the Black Panther actor added. “But it’s definitely going to be spectacular. Amy Hennig, known for her work on the Uncharted series, is the director and writer for this project. She is absolutely remarkable and I’m thinking, ‘Wow, we couldn’t have asked for better leadership on this endeavor.’
“I realize it has taken some time, but believe me, it will be worth the wait.”
We received our initial teaser for Hennig’s previously unnamed Marvel game back in 2022, following the announcement made in 2021. Since then, we have been given a few glimpses, such as a look at Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra’s take on Wakanda, along with a view of the game’s utilization of Tale’s MetaHuman Creator, which grants each character significant detail.
