Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Set to Launch This July, Day One on Xbox Game Pass
Announcement [
As anticipated, Iron Galaxy Studios is the creator behind THPS 3+4, known for their contributions to Killer Instinct for the Xbox One era, and they take over from the now-defunct THPS 1+2 developer Vicarious Visions.
A Career Mode featuring the original tours from both games will be included in 3+4, alongside cross-platform multiplayer supporting up to eight skaters simultaneously. It is noted that a NewGame+ mode is part of the offering along with new creation tools, while the gameplay is said to “build upon the foundation” established in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.
Interestingly, the trailer you see above showcases a brand-new ‘Waterpark’ level described as a “worn-down, dried-up park in the center of the Mojave desert,” and we expect to learn about additional new features in the near future.
To add to the details mentioned below, the Foundry demo will be accessible in June for anyone who pre-orders the game (except on Nintendo Switch), while early access will be available to Deluxe and Collector’s Edition purchasers. Xbox Game Pass members interested in the Deluxe Edition can pay £18 / $18 for a special ‘Support’ version.
Here are the additional features you receive with the Deluxe Edition:
“Play as either the Doom Slayer (with two outfits, two unique tricks, and a hoverboard) or a Revenant (also with its own two unique tricks), not to mention themed skateboards, Create-a-Skater accessories, and bonus soundtracks.”
We will share more details about Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 below, accompanied by some screenshots:
“Get excited for the iconic return of the birdman himself in the next-gen remake of Tony Hawk’s™ Pro Skater™ 3 + 4, launching on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.”
“Skate through the original parks with the classic lineup of skaters alongside new parks, skaters, and tricks in a remake of THPS 3 + 4, featuring Career mode, cross-platform multiplayer, enhanced creation tools, New Game+, and more. Rally the community and grab your skate pals because the shred’s not over. It’s back and improved!”
