Capcom Unveils Solution for Softlock Issues in Monster Hunter Wilds Endgame
Capcom has clarified the situation surrounding a perceived endgame softlock in Monster Hunter Wilds.
The crucial quest 5-1: Omens instructs players to “Investigate the areas and elevate your HR”, but some players have already hit the Hunter Rank cap and were unable to advance.
However, it seems that the explanation may not have been entirely clear. The quest does not necessitate players to raise their Hunter Rank, but rather accumulate enough Hunter Rank Points to proceed.
Capcom stated that their report on the Monster Hunter Wilds scenario defined the clarity and apologized for the explanation not being “thorough in this instance”.
To proceed, players need only to complete enough Low-Value Quests or Side Missions to gather sufficient Hunter Rank Points.
Some players have indicated that if they have already reached the Hunter Rank cap while playing Main Mission 5-1: Omens, they cannot complete the mission “Investigate the areas and raise your HR”.
