60FPS for all!

In advance of the anticipated release of Hazelight’s latest game, Split Fiction, EA has shared a detailed overview of the game’s technical specifications, including information regarding its performance on Xbox Series X and S.
The key takeaway here is that both Xbox versions — indeed, all console versions — will operate at 60 frames per second. Players on Xbox Series X and PS5 will experience a dynamic 4K resolution at that frame rate, while Series S users will be looking at 1080p / 60FPS.
“Split Fiction will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and we have put in a lot of effort to ensure an optimized experience for those of you planning to play on either console. The game will run at 60fps, providing you and your co-op partner with a smooth action-adventure experience alongside Mio and Zoe in their vibrant and stunning simulated worlds.”

The talented team behind A Way Out, It Takes Two, and more is set to bring Split Fiction to life on March 6th. We are thrilled to see them prioritize 60FPS on both Xbox platforms. We are also very excited to observe how generous the team is being with the game’s ‘Friend’s Pass’ – we would love to see more developers do this for co-op titles on Xbox!
