Finnish Mobile Development Firm Seven Stars Closes Seed Funding Round
Spintop Ventures and Watch Ventures jointly lead a fundraising initiative of an undisclosed amount.
The Finnish mobile game developer Seven Stars has obtained seed funding with Spintop Ventures and Watch Ventures leading the round, along with new backer Sisu Game Ventures.
As reported by Pocket Gamer, they also received support from Failup Ventures and a significant number of angel investors, including former Tiny Giant Games CEO and co-founder Timo Soininen. Additionally, funding was acquired from the European Union for an “R&D project.”
Seven Stars plans to utilize the funds to expand its team and enhance its development capabilities.
“At Seven Stars, we are creating the next generation of puzzle games by combining innovation with substantial industry knowledge,” the studio stated.
“Our team, consisting of veterans from Moon Active, Rovio, Seriously, Next Games, and Small Giant Games, is committed to pushing the limits of mobile gaming.”
Sisu Game Ventures commented: “We are excited about the future of Seven Stars’ new funding round, which represents our latest investment in Finland.”
