Peter Jason – a stalwart in Hollywood recognized by many gamers as Fallout 2‘s Drill Sergeant Arch Dornan and the voice of Dizzy in Gears of War – has passed away at the age of 80.
As initially reported by Variety, Jason succumbed to his ailments in his West Hollywood residence on Thursday.

Apart from his gaming contributions, Jason was also well-known for his performances in Deadwood, 48 Hrs, and Prince of Darkness. He could also be seen in films such as Rio Lobo, Impulse, Brewster’s Millions, They Live, and Alien Nation. Additionally, he made guest appearances on shows like Murder, She Wrote, The Golden Girls, and Steven Spielberg’s Ama.
