Nintendo Bids Farewell to Gold Parts Reward Program

Nintendo has announced the termination of its My Nintendo Gold Points program effective March 24, 2025.

After this date, customers will no longer have the opportunity to earn Gold Points when purchasing digital content. This also applies to transactions made with balances from Nintendo eShop cards.

Nintendo acknowledged that following the cutoff date, “some retailers may still sell Nintendo eShop cards that indicate earning Gold Points.”

“You can still acquire and use these cards for their full value, but you will not accumulate Gold Points when utilizing the cards for purchases.”

Gold Points will remain available to customers if they have pre-ordered digital content or bought a physical copy of a game before the cutoff date.

Any Gold Points accrued will remain valid until the last day of the month one year after they are earned.
