Daredevil Enthusiasts Eagerly Anticipate ‘Born Again’ After Charlie Cox’s Surprise Appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home

Daredevil is back! Charlie Cox is making a brief appearance in the latest episode of Disney Plus’ exciting new Spider-Man series, which has only heightened Marvel enthusiasts’ anticipation for Daredevil: Born Again.

The superhero makes an appearance in the episode 6 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, titled ‘Duel With the Devil’. However, the footage of the two heroes meeting was shared ahead of time on Twitter by ScreenRant. The video displays Spidey confronting The Man Without Fear on a rooftop. As the two begin to fight, it’s clear that Parker has met his rival, as Daredevil comes out on top, all while Murdock attempts to caution Spider-Man regarding Norman Osborn. Even though fans were aware that the cameo was on the way, witnessing Cox reprise his role as Daredevil, albeit in an animated format, has only excited Marvel lovers further for the upcoming Daredevil series. “Hearing that Daredevil theme again gave me chills!,” noted one fan on Twitter, while another added, “Charlie Cox absolutely nailed it.”

A multitude of viewers have been commenting on how the two heroes create an unexpected yet exhilarating combination. “Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil and hearing that ICONIC theme while he’s battling Peter was fantastic—I loved how their personalities clashed,” stated one viewer.

Although it is uncertain if Daredevil will appear in future Spider-Man episodes, fans do not have long to wait to see him in live action, as Daredevil: Born Again will debut on Disney Plus in just a few weeks. Welcoming back Cox as blind lawyer Matt Murdock during the day and vigilante Daredevil at night, Born Again follows the hero’s fight against crime on the tough streets of Hell’s Kitchen.

The cast also includes Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Jon Bernthal as Punisher, and others.

Daredevil: Born Again will premiere on Disney Plus on March 4, 2025.
