Production on Fallout Season 2 is currently underway, and series star Walton Goggins has provided an update. Goggins, portraying The Ghoul, noted that Season 2 is “currently in the midst of filming” and promises it will be bigger and better than the first season.
“I can tell you that I found Season 1 to be fantastic; personally, I was quite pleased with it,” Goggins mentioned to Deadline. “What these writers have achieved and the artisans involved to bring this story to life truly outshines it. It’s going to be something special. I’m eager for viewers to experience it. We’re diligently working to make it happen.”
Season 2 is expected to take viewers to new locations where they will encounter Deathclaws. While Season 1 was filmed in New York, the second season has relocated to California, partly due to significant tax incentives.
Returning for Season 2, Goggins will reprise his role as The Ghoul, alongside Ella Purnell as Lucy. In terms of new cast members, Macaulay Culkin is joining the cast as a “mad genius,” while Kumail Nanjiani is reported to be joining the cast in an undisclosed role.
