Fortnite enthusiasts can obtain PDP’s Riffmaster Wireless Guitar Controller for a significant discount at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. The Xbox/PC and PlayStation versions of the officially endorsed controller are currently priced at $110 (down from $130). However, be aware that Amazon quickly ran out of the PS5 controller offer, but Xbox and PC users can still purchase the Riffmaster for $110 at Amazon. Meanwhile, Best Buy and Walmart both have all models available at the discounted price. Walmart’s deal ships immediately from Turtle Beach (PDP’s parent company).
Launched last March to support the Fortnite Competition, the Riffmaster is currently the premier guitar controller being manufactured that is authorized by PlayStation and Xbox.

To clarify, what we have here is technically a Rock Band 4 controller; however, Epic Games incorporated support for various guitar controllers last April, including those for Rock Band 4.
By default, the Riffmaster is set up for right-handed players, but left-handed users can utilize it by removing a single screw and flipping the neck. The Riffmaster features five upper and lower frets, alongside a D-pad on the pick guard and an analog stick located at the back of the headstock.
This controller allows for a 30-foot wireless range thanks to the included USB dongle and can operate for up to 36 hours on a full charge. It comes with a built-in 3.5mm audio jack and includes a shoulder strap.
As an officially licensed controller, the Riffmaster is also equipped with the PS button to launch the PS5 control center or navigate back to the home screen.
In contrast to many PlayStation controllers, the Riffmaster wasn’t specifically designed with compatibility for PlayStation consoles in mind. Nevertheless, some users have successfully managed to get the PlayStation Riffmaster working on a PC with unofficial third-party drivers.

If you mainly engage in Fortnite Competition on PC, you might consider selecting the Xbox version of the Riffmaster. The Xbox variant shares the same features as the PlayStation model, including an Xbox button that opens the menu.
Both models showcase a sleek black and grey color palette and are constructed from durable plastic. A foldable design allows for easy storage of the guitar or portability while traveling. Once disassembled, the controller can fit into a backpack and be reassembled in just a few moments.
Sadly, neither variant is particularly compatible with Nintendo Switch. However, if you are looking for an alternative to a traditional controller for Switch or PC, CRKD has recently introduced a unique version of its popular Neo S Wireless Controller. The Neo S Fortnite Competition Version features a five-key detachable module resembling the accessory used for Guitar Hero games on Nintendo DS. It is available now on Amazon for $60.
